Comments to Oriented Staff just before Day One

Staff:

Remember we are staff members of the Linden Lab Solution Provider Conference. It is the first of its kind and we are excited to assist in bringing this forth! Using a little bit of common sense will go a long way to ensure a smooth conference.

In addition to our being a special Event Staff for a special Conference, remember these are Special Participants - they're professional developers (Solution Providers) with many successes listed on the SL Grid Web Site who've paid to be a part of this conference as part of their professional and business development.

Please use the SPConference Managers Group IM to report issues, concerns. All of the moderators and hosts and staff are able to read and respond in this Group. Please note that Glenn Linden is also in that group.

Please do not unnecessarily ruffle the participants by reporting issues in open chat that are better reported in the SPConference Managers Group. For example, if you are having an issue with seeing the video stream, that group is a great place to request assistance.

Likewise if the need arises to speak to a participant concerning an issue, it is best to handle this in private IM.

Script for Talking to Candidate Event Staff
