ROBOT APPRECIATION IN SL!

What movie has actress Patricia Neal telling a silver robot the unforgettable line, "Klattu barada nikto"? Don't know? Well, go to the new Museum of Robots in Kubrick Sim and find out! (hint "The Day the Earth Stood Still").

Museum co-owner Bibi Bayliss says, "[The museum] is dedicated to the appreciation of robots. Its mission is to promote understanding of the place of robots in popular culture, art, and science through permanent and special exhibits, entertainment, and events." The museum hosts a regular Saturday Morning Cocktail Hour with Sci-Fi DJ Eudyptes Bergson. Theme? "Where Humanity Meets Technology - For Drinks!"

The museum features Fred Barton Productions' studio-licensed celebrity robots from movies and television series including Forbidden Planet and Lost in Space ("Warning! Warning!
