| Dublin Virtually Live is a
recreation of Dublin City online celebrating
the music, culture, and business of Ireland.
The Blarney Stone is The Best
Irish Bar in Virtual Reality featuring
friendly staff and great live music from
around the world since 2006.
SXSW South by Southwest is an
internationally recognized Music and Media
Conference and Festival held each year in
Austin, TX. New and recognized talent from UK, Ireland,
and USA perform
live from the festival into Dublin Virtually
Live and
the world.
Irish Reading is a pure indulgence
of the best from the epic tales of the Tain
to the poetry of Yates, the wit of Wilde,
the intelligence of Beckett, and the
brilliance of Heaney. Irish Literature is
the third oldest literature in Europe after
Latin and Greek, and has had a profound
effect on British and global literature.
Highland Marching Band comprises members from
around the world who record
their own music to play in Second Life. The
group brings a wide variety of Celtic music,
playing fiddle, guitar, penny whistle and Bodhran drum, in addition to traditional
bagpipes, bass and snare drums. |
